All life is involuntarily part of a gigantic chain reaction, which extends back to the beginning of life. The work shows a growth structured on the assumption that every person is the product of two parents – a mother and a father. Starting with the 10th generation in the outside circle (with 512 individuals), the threads make their way through the generations by pairing and building knots with eachother. With every generation more threads are joining the strands, like genetic information of each individual. In the middle all ropes join to one final knot, the temorary end of this universal family tree – that carrys information of every individual of the growth.
